BTR elephant deaths are ‘killings by government’, claims MP Congress; seeks Forest Minister’s ouster

Kamal Nath, the ex-Chief Minister, fiercely criticized the State government and urged them to initiate a CBI or judicial investigation into the fatalities.

On Tuesday, the Madhya Pradesh Congress party alleged that the government was responsible for the deaths of ten elephants in the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve (BTR) and called for the resignation of the state’s Forest Minister, Ramniwas Rawat.

Kamal Nath, the ex-Chief Minister, strongly criticized the State government and urged it to request a CBI or judicial investigation into the fatalities.
