The CAT exam for the year 2024 has been planned to take place on November 24, 2024, with three shifts scheduled for the day.
The CAT Admit card for the Common Admission Test conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta is set to be unveiled today, November 5, 2024. Applicants are advised to access and procure their CAT 2024 Admit Card from the official portal iimcat.ac.in by logging in with their registration ID and password.
Instructions for downloading admission tickets from the official website iimcat.ac.in are provided for applicants to follow.
Step 1 Head to the official iimcat.ac.in website as the first step.
Step 2 involves clicking the CAT admit card 2024 link on the homepage.
Step 3 involves inputting your registration number and password.
Step 4 Upon pressing the login button in , your CAT 2024 Admit Card shall appear on the screen.
Step 5 involves downloading your CAT Admit Card 2024 and printing it out for future use.
In three shifts, CAT 2024 is set to occur on November 24, 2024, at various test centers in more than 170 cities throughout India. The CAT exam result is a key requirement for entry into 21 IIMs and prestigious MBA institutions across the country.
In line with tradition, the CAT 2024 exam is scheduled to take place in three sessions: the first session runs from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by the second session from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and concluding with the third session from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The exam comprises three segments: Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), encompassing a total of 66 questions. Candidates will earn three marks for every correct response, while a deduction of one mark awaits an incorrect one; however, leaving a question unanswered will not result in any penalty.
