Ridhi Dogra expressed her joy over PM Modi’s praise for The Sabarmati Report, calling it the highest compliment they could receive.
After Prime Minister Modi applauded The Sabarmati Report, Ridhi Dogra said it was the best compliment they could receive.
On its first day, The Sabarmati Report outperformed Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail. Over the weekend, it developed steadily. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah praised the film, which recalls the 2002 Sabarmati rail disaster.
Although Modi lauded The Sabarmati Report for presenting “the truth,” Shah said it “defies the ecosystem with unequaled daring and reveals the reality behind the catastrophic tragedy.” The film’s journalist Ridhi Dogra discusses Modi’s thanks in an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha. Indeed, it was unfathomable! She says, “I felt shocked, numb, and completely dumbfounded, and I even think that I am still speechless.”
Ridhi’s gratitude for PM’s praise: “Still sinking in,” defends film
They have acknowledged our efforts. It is without a doubt the highest accolade that we are capable of receiving. It has such a pleasant sensation. As soon as I received the notification, I did not even bother to get up from my seat. Wow! I exclaimed in shock. Even on social media, I believe that is how everyone responded to the situation. My mental condition was just like that.
“For any project that you do, you are constantly searching for encouragement and recognition, and when it comes from the most Honourable Prime Minister, the topmost man in our nation, it is a tremendous feeling,” Ridhi says, implying that the admiration from the Prime Minister is “still sinking in.” Ridhi is referring to the fact that the Prime Minister’s appreciation is “still sinking in.” On the inside of me, it has not yet totally settled. For me to be able to declare, “Okay, this has definitely taken place,” I need a couple more people to tell me this.
They also argued that the distribution of the film prior to the elections in Maharashtra was a strategic move. Since the movie is in theaters, Ridhi hopes to change this attitude. From its release, I was in the film. I never thought it was an agenda-driven picture while working on it.
In order to further defend her picture, the actor who appeared in Jawan and Tiger 3 says, “I appreciated the character arcs and understood the trip that took place between the years 2002 and 2010. Overall, I found the novel to be enjoyable. I, as a member of the audience, found that the movie contained a great deal of components that were effective. It was not the case that she went overboard, that she was too dramatic, or that she attempted to emphasize what she already was.
