Rich IT entrepreneur Bryan Johnson, 47, is investing millions in reversing the aging process through bio-hacking. He just posted on Instagram about how injecting donor fat into his face to seem younger went awry. He uploaded shocking close-ups of his bloated, red face, saying donor fat triggered a’severe allergic reaction’.

Bryan, who is attempting to live to 150, wrote in a long post with his new photos that his weight loss from his 1,950-calorie diet inspired the fat injections. Bryan’s latest ‘Project Blueprint’ initiative involved fat injections that swelled his face to the point he could not see.
He hired 30 physicians and spent $2 million this year on cutting-edge science to get an 18-year-old’s brain, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, tendons, teeth, skin, hair, bladder, penis, and rectum.
Bryan on ‘Project Baby Face’
Bryan captioned his recent therapy session, “‘Have any of your therapies gone wrong?'” I started Project Blueprint asking: are we the first generation to live forever? My colleagues and I reviewed all the scientific literature on lifespan and aging to identify the most effective health therapies using the strongest evidence.”
He continued, ” Early selections included caloric restriction. My calorie intake dropped from 2,500 to 1,950. I shed a lot of weight, especially in my face, and became slender. Though my biomarkers improved, I looked emaciated. People thought I was dying. As Blueprint spread globally, scrutiny rose. We found that youth perception is influenced by facial fat. I did not need good biomarkers without face fat.”
“We initiated ‘Project Baby Face’ to study volume restoration. The initial treatment was injecting a fat-derived extracellular matrix to stimulate my body’s fat accumulation and restore volume. He claimed that he used a donor because he did not have enough body fat to extract.
Bryan on what went wrong
Added, “My face blew up after injections. And then it became worse until I could not see. The allergy was severe. 30 minutes following the therapy, I was to discuss Blueprint with Bloomberg’s @valleyhack. I called and said, “Hey, you may not know me today to avoid concern.” Should be OK. Hope I am okay. Are you trained to save lives if I am not okay?”
Bryan revealed, “Seven days later, my face was back to normal, and we were back in the trenches planning our next try. Creating a product is different from being it.”
