Star Health conducted bone scans in more than 46 cities throughout India as a component of this program, with locations spanning Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.

Star Health and Allied Insurance has recently revealed plans for a nationwide initiative to increase awareness about osteoporosis ahead of World Osteoporosis Day on October 20. The campaign, designed specifically to address the 69 per cent of osteoporosis cases diagnosed in women in India, aims to inform the public about the condition, emphasizing the importance of early detection and preventive actions.

Star Health conducted a program wherein complimentary bone scans were provided in more than 46 Indian cities, such as Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, on October 19, 2024. The initiative also featured informative wellness camps where participants received dietary guidance, engaged in discussions with medical experts, and gained access to materials aimed at osteoporosis prevention and treatment.
